The Newton Falls Bicentennial Art Show

The Newton Falls Bicentennial Committee is proud to present the Newton Falls Bicentennial Art Show. We invite you to exhibit this year and encourage you to pass this invitation along to other area artists who have ties to Newton Falls. TERMS AND CONDITIONS are as follows:

Deadline for registration is August 15, 2006 space is limited so register soon.

Medium: All mediums are accepted.

Entry fee is $3.00 per item to be paid at the time of registration. Checks or money orders should be made payable to “Newton Falls Bicentennial Committee”. Please note “Art Show Entry” in the memo line.

Artists wishing to sell their work on display may do so. Any sales are between the artist and the buyer. All artwork must remain in the show until Sunday, September 3rd, 4:00 pm. A 10% commission from all artwork sold must be donated to the committee.

This is a FINE ARTS EXHIBITION, please NO crafts.

All art must be properly framed, wired, and ready to hang. (If the artist is a child, we will assist with this if prior notice is given.) If the artwork is not an item that can be hung, please note the amount of space needed to display the work.

This is a community event and we ask that all art presented be in GOOD TASTE. The committee reserves the right to reject any entry they feel is not suitable for exhibition.

The committee reserves the right to limit the quantities and size of art work displayed by any individual.

Friday, September 1st, - all art work must be delivered to St. Mary’s Social Hall between 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Viewing hours for the Art Show are:

Saturday, September 2nd, 2006 from 12 noon until 7 PM.
Sunday, September 3rd, 2006 from 12 noon until 6 PM

Art work may be picked up starting at 4 PM on Sunday, September 3rd. All art work must be removed by 8 PM on Sunday, September 3rd.
