The Newton Falls Bicentennial Committee is offering
you a chance to celebrate our bicentennial by purchasing Newton
Falls’ very own Bicentennial Stamp. The stamp features our
covered bridge and will be released on September 1, 2006, just in
time for our weekend birthday celebration. This gives the stamps
a first issue date and allows collectors to purchase a first issue
stamp. The stamps are only available through the Newton Falls Bicentennial
Committee.

The stamps are available to pre-order from the committee.
A sheet of twenty (20) $0.39 stamps will sell for $20.00 plus shipping
and handling. If you live in town, you may chose to pick the stamps
up from the committee and save the shipping and handling fee.

We are also offering a printed envelope with our
stamp, for $5.00 plus shipping and handling if the purchaser wishes
to have the stamped envelope sent back to them in a separate envelope.
If the stamped envelope is sent through the mail, there isn’t
an additional charge for shipping in handling.

As a part of the celebration, Newton Falls Post Office will have
a special round dater (cancellation stamp) featuring our Bicentennial
Seal designed by Curtis Witt that will only be available the dates
of September 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, 2006. Envelopes may be preordered
with the cancellation stamp on them at no additional cost.
We will be taking prepaid orders through July 24th, 2006 with a
guarantee of the cancellation stamp for the weekend. Orders will
be available for pick up and shipping within in 6 weeks of September
1st. Orders will be taken after this, but can not be guaranteed
for cancellation with the round dater.
We are hoping to be able to offer a matted and framed version of
the stamps and envelope in the near future.
Please download the order form,
complete it, and send it with a check or money order to:

PO Box 554
